Mijndomein

We purchase web hosting from MijnDomein. MijnDomein processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. MijnDomein has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. MijnDomein is bound to secrecy under the terms of the agreement.

MailchimpWe use a third party service, MailChimp, to manage and send our newsletters. If you sign up for our newsletter mailing list, MailChimp stores the email and the optional name you provide. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time or contact us directly to remove your data from MailChimp. For more information, please see MailChimp’s Privacy Policy.

As far as necessary, we have concluded data processing agreements with these parties. These data processing agreements contain strict agreements on what data will be stored and processed.

Newsletter
Through our website you can subscribe to our newsletter. In this newsletter we will inform you by email about information, news and developments and keep you up to date about products, services and offers from Rebel.

We use this data on the basis of your consent. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. At the moment you unsubscribe, we will keep your data on our blocking list, so that you will no longer receive mailings from Rebel.

Business Transfer
Your personal data may be considered a business asset. If Rebel is faced with a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganisation sale of assets or similar situation our assets, including your personal data, may be sold and transferred to a third party as part of that transaction. These processing activities will usually be based on a legitimate interest.

Do we transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA?
Because we use MailChimp, your personal data may be transferred to the United States. Mailchimp contractually commits to transfer and process all of its users’ European data in compliance with the Standard Contractual Clauses (the “SCCs”), which gives us the ability to lawfully transfer personal data to Mailchimp in the United States. The SCCs automatically apply in accordance with Mailchimp’s Data Processing Addendum, which automatically forms part of their Standard Terms of Use (MailChimp’s contract with us).

How long do we keep your personal data?
In principle, we do not keep your personal data any longer than necessary for processing purposes it was originally collected, unless the data must be kept for a longer period in order to comply with legal obligations, such as a statutory retention period.

What rights do you have?
You have the right to request us access of rectification and erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing. You also have the right to object to the processing and under certain circumstances you have the right to data portability[MM6] . If the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before your withdrawal.
